Earlier this year, we noted how China had developed its own robot gun dogs. Now, it seems like they’re advancing the technology, and watching it happen in real time is pretty unsettling.

In this video from the country’s International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, you can see a truck of these robot dogs being unloaded in an open field. After a few seconds, they set off, using their weird, spindly legs to navigate to the top of a nearby pyramid.

The technology is pretty cool, but I’d hate for one of these to be the last thing I see before I die.
