Streamer Gets Choked Out for Harassing People in Japan
The divisive Kick streamer Johnny Somali is currently living and streaming in Japan, but after repeatedly harassing locals, it doesn't look like they want him there anymore.
Last weekend, Johnny was grabbed in a choke hold from behind while streaming live and can be heard asking his attacker to calm down. The attack is just the most recent in a stream of aggressive acts against Somali, in retaliation for repeated insensitive remarks the streamer has made about the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, among other things.
Earlier this month he was struck in the side of the head by a Japanese man, and last month he was confronted on a train for repeatedly mocking riders about the attacks.
"Those who know the context know this is absolutely deserved," @itzmilxs commented on the most recent attack.
"Homie lucky if he’s not fed to the fishes by the Yakuza," @ItsOnlyCasualll added.
Johnny Somali is still streaming in Japan, but it remains to be seen for how much longer. I'd say that hopefully he's learned his lesson, but some people never learn.
