People really don’t like the police these days. In response to these rising tensions between cops and everyday people, some businesses have opted not to bring in cops or security, but to instead utilize police robots.

This has had mixed results. And by mixed results, I mean poor results. After announcing the robotic police program last year, the City of New York has admitted that it doesn’t know what to do with its police robots, and in this mall, their robotic security doesn’t seem to understand that it can’t go down escalators.

As a consequence, these riders go down like pins in a bowling alley.
