It’s Not Just Stanley Cups: People Are Tearing Apart Costco’s Pokemon Displays
Everyone really is getting more feral.
Since COVID, people have struggled to be normal. I don’t know what happened during those two or so years, but something within us fundamentally broke, turning us into gremlins who can’t behave on airplanes and struggle to interact with our fellow man.
Some prime examples are the various consumer “drops” that have happened over the past few years. Every time there’s a new Stanley cup released, for example, suburban moms break out their inner Undertaker and pile-drive anyone who gets in between them and their special chalice.
Now, there’s a new thing to buy that’s causing consumer destruction: Pokemon cards.
People, please — behave yourselves!
why on earth is there not a limit per person to prevent this… pic.twitter.com/wE86FduWgN
