Brazilian Train Gets Electrified, Sets Fire
I guess there’s more than one downside to taking public transit.
São Paulo, Brazil recently had to deal with a pretty severe issue. While no one is sure exactly how it started, it appears that one of their newly-purchased trains suddenly had an electrical problem, which passengers apparently took to mean that everything became impossible to touch. From there, it started on fire.
To put it in baby terms, one of their trains went shocky-shocky and then boom-boom.
Thankfully, the fire was soon extinguished, and all passengers were moved onto another train, though the company says the train will likely be out of service for a little while.
You don’t say!
