ouch
You brought him into this world, and now, he’s going to take you out!
A two-year-old brown bear named Ricky recently completed his rehabilitation in Armenia after being hit by a car. The strike caused a minor leg injury and a wound on his lip, which was promptly stitched up by rescuers — and soon after, Ricky was ready to be released back into the wild.
However, Ricky didn’t seem too thrilled about this idea. As you can see in the video, he wasn’t so much “thankful” to his rescuers as he was “ready to tear them limb from limb.”
These dudes really do have a thankless job.

@int.animalrescue Ricky the #bear couldn’t wait to show just how WILD he really is! His fierce instincts kicked in the moment the crate opened, and he wasted no time charging into the wild! We can definitely say it was a release no one will forget anytime soon! Yesterday, we shared Ricky’s incredible rescue story and the horrific injuries he sustained after being hit by a car in Armenia. Now, we’re excited to bring you the dramatic footage of his release! Ricky—named after our generous supporter, Ricky Gervais—spent two weeks healing at the rescue center of our partners, FPWC. Today, he’s back where he belongs, roaming free in the Armenian mountains. But this release was far from calm—it was heart-pounding! Rest assured: the ranger and the whole release team are fully trained for situations like this! Ricky wasn’t harmed, and this wild behavior is exactly what we want to see. His natural wariness and aggression will help keep him safe in the wild. A huge THANK YOU to everyone that supporters this amazing project. Because of you, Ricky is back where he belongs—wild and free! #animals #wildlife ♬ original sound - International Animal Rescue
