'Bayonetta' Voice Actress Reveals Her Pathetically Low Salary Offer For 'Bayonetta 3'

Hellena Taylor, the voice of Bayonetta in the successful Bayonetta video game franchise, took to Twitter to explain why she was not returning to reprise her role in the upcoming "Bayonetta 3." After successfully voicing the role in the first two games of the series, Taylor reveals that PlatinumGames and Hideki Kamiya offered her only $4,000 to voice the entire third game after making her re-audition for the role. This comes when, according to Taylor, the franchise made approximately $450 million. This pathetic offer somehow wasn't even their first, and came after an attempt by Taylor to negotiate with Hideki Kamiya.

Taylor urges fans to boycott the upcoming "Bayonetta 3," asking them instead to donate the money they would have spent on the game, to charity. Taylor goes on to broaden the scope of her plea, stating that she only felt it right to publicize her struggle while so many people are fighting for higher wages themselves.
