When a college student took an unpaid internship during her senior year, she did so with the understanding that it would help her land a job after school. Her mentor seemingly thought so too, and promised her a position immediately following graduation. 

Unfortunately, he inexplicably ghosted her with no explanation, leaving the student to track down the reason why herself. Apparently, a different student had gotten a girl pregnant and was given the position instead to help with child payments. Of all the ways to lose a job, someone else's pregnancy is a childish one.
