25 Inventors Who Hate Their Inventions
The figures behind some of the most prolific inventions in our world have deep guilt over the sins they created.
Twitter user, @GarettJones, recently asked their followers what inventors notoriously have come out in opposition to their inventions. There are obvious answers, like Alfred Nobel, who invented dynamite as well as his namesake prize. Then there are social inventions like Jenna Karvunidis, the woman who popularized gender reveal parties. Ironically, both Nobel and Karvunidis’ inventions led to the death of many civilians. This prompt has inadvertently given us the names of the people we blame for the destruction of society. The inventor of the Goldendoodle has to live with the fact that there are millions of human-eyed canines named Bailey squatting in homes all across the globe.
